Microbloc's motor oil filter/water separator has been developed, and now is under one-year testing. The new product is to prevent water from entering motor oil. Water enters motor as a combustion by-product (oil oxidation residue, carbon and water) when the hot engine cooling down, the results will contaminants motor oil and cause the engine metal surface rust and corrosion, the oil mixes with the resulting water and forms the thick sludge that sticks to the engine parts. During the frequent cold starts and short trips, the engine oil does not heat up enough to vaporize and remove the water. In the high fluid temperature, the water portion of the coolant evaporates and leaves the ethylene glycol portion of the coolant behind. This will cause the motor oil loss lubricity and increase the sludge in the engine. It could finally lead to completed engine failure.
Microbloc's oil filter/ water separator effectively removes damaging water and coolant contaminants, significantly increasing the time that oil can be safely left in the engine. A better protection of coolant contaminants and a neglected internal engine coolant leak. |
