Microbloc’s innovative technology is the result of 30-years experience with petroleum purification and the clean-up of seawater contaminated by petroleum. In mid 2003, our scientists developed a new filtration technology and began production of the Microbloc Multigrade G_NNA material that is used in the Microbloc Fuel Filter/Water Separator. A new innovative filtration media is able to block the water molecule perfectly.
Current market water separating technique is a tradition way so called “centrifuge force”. The principle is water heavier than diesel and this method is able to separate the water. The shortcoming is not able to get the sufficient water out of fuel. Water could cause engine and injector component wear, erosion and break down the engine. Contaminated fuel damages storage tanks, fuel tanks, carburetor, injector pumps and injectors.
Microbloc products remove contaminants and separate water using a four stage process:
- Centrifugal Action: Larger solid contaminants and free water are separated
- Coalescing Action: Smaller water droplets and solid contaminants are filtered out by Microbloc multigrade filtration media, causing them to coalesce together and fall into the collection bowl
- Micro Action I: Micro Action filtration removes the smallest water droplets and solid contaminants from fuel
- Micro Action II: A second Micro Action filtration ensures nearly 100% pure fuel filtration
Microbloc Fuel Filter/Water Separators can separate water from fuel with up to 99.8% effectiveness.
